Ingredients (serves 4):
  • 400g asparagus
  • 50ml Happy Kitchen TM sesame seed oil
  • 5ml soy sauce
  • 20g sugar
  • 20g sesame seeds

Method

Wash asparagus and cut off the tough ends. Add water in a saucepan and bring it to boil. Put the prepared asparagus in boiling water and boil for 30 seconds. Lift into a bowl and cool down with cold water. When cooled, chop and put in a bowl. Add sesame seed oil, soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl, mix together. Season the asparagus with the prepared mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
